The ACTS study group, with members from a range of different churches in the Lenzie and Kirkintilloch area, recently met on Tuesday evenings at Harestanes Baptist Church to consider the book Reconciliation by Muthuraj Swamy. This book stimulated lively discussion over 6 weeks, ably led by David Vogan, Pastor of Harestanes Baptist Church. David succeeded in sensitively facilitating our conversations on a wide range of different issues with which we all struggle, as we explored the theme of reconciliation not only with God but also with our fellow human beings. In the words of Dr Swamy, “God’s abundant mercies are available to all of us, and we should never doubt God’s everlasting love, unfailing kindness and readiness to forgive us when we repent of our sins.”
