On Saturday 1 st October Lenzie Old Parish Church hosted a Welcoming Dinner and Social Evening. A warm welcome was extended to our new minister Rev Louise McClements and her family. The warmth of the welcome was evident by the large turnout of members and friends. What a great night it was! Alistair Aitchison’s welcome speech set the tone for a memorable evening of good food, friendship and entertainment.
The dinner was delicious, the friendship evident in the laughter and chatter and the entertainment from “Quattro Voci” and from George Hughes on piano was most enjoyable and appreciated by all.
Rev Louise McClements thanked everyone and our “Great Night Out” ended with applause for the organisers and entertainers.
