This year is the 80th Anniversary of Christian Aid, founded in 1945 to help with refugees after the Second World War. Christian Aid Week this year is 11th -17th May. In preparation, Christian Aid Scotland is holding a series of “Drop-Ins” around the country and we in Lenzie Old are hosting one of the first! This is open to all who wish to know a bit more about Christian Aid and its work today in 2025. Churches from around East Dunbartonshire, North Lanarkshire and North Glasgow have been invited. Representatives of staff from Christian Aid Scotland will be available to answer questions and the usual tea, coffee and tasty bite will be available. There is no cost for this event, details below.
